Last Fifa 2010 World Cup Match in Cape Town Today
It is sad to see the Fifa World Cup 2010 coming to an end, especially for Cape Town. The match between Uruguay and the Netherlands will certainly be one of the toughest matches played in Cape Town today. Both teams have not lost a match yet during the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. The Dutch have plenty of support in South Africa and ousted five-time champions Brazil 2-1 in the quarter finals. Uruguayans defeated Ghana in a penalty kick out after ending 1-1.
Uruguay’s team is without their striker, Luis Suarez given a red a card against Ghana. Uruguay's captain Diego Lugano is certain to miss today's semi final due to injury. Netherlands is playing great and it looks for certain they will be advancing to the final. The Dutch have won all group games against Denmark, Japan and Cameroon and Brazil.
Locals in Cape Town will be flocking to the fan park and stadium during the course of today, for a last opportunity to experience the Fifa World Cup 2010 fever, before every thing returns back to normal on Monday next week. What an experience for South Africa a once in a life time event.
